A gentle herbal steam blend for the weeks after birth, once your midwife or GP has given you the all-clear. Organic calendula, lavender, yarrow and red raspberry leaf make a calming, comforting ritual for a time when your body has done something incredible. Each 55g pack makes around 5–6 steaming sessions.

here's what a little daily ritual does:

  • made with calming botanicals — for tender, tired days.
  • a quiet ritual just for you — in the middle of the newborn chaos.
  • eight organic herbs — calendula, lavender, yarrow & more.
  • 5–6 sessions per 55g pack — hand-blended for you.

Only steam once your midwife or GP has given you the all-clear after birth.

Add around 2 tablespoons of the Postpartum Blend to a heat-resistant bowl of just-boiled water.

Let it cool until the steam feels comfortably warm, never hot. Hold your hand over the bowl first to check — skin can be extra tender after birth.

Sit over the bowl on your steam stool, with a blanket wrapped around your lower body to hold the warmth in. Stay for 20–30 minutes, and move away straight away if it ever feels too hot.

Afterwards, give yourself time to rest.

  • for the fourth trimester, once you've been cleared by your midwife.
  • a gentle way to slow down and care for yourself after birth.
  • always check with your midwife or gp before your first steam.
  • do not use if you are pregnant.
  • patch test before first use — apply a small amount to your inner arm and wait 24 hours.
  • avoid if you have a known allergy to any listed ingredient.
  • stop immediately if you feel any discomfort.

designed for your comfort.

everything you want to know, answered

the questions we get asked most about this one.

When can I start steaming after giving birth?

You may steam once your postpartum bleeding (lochia) has fully stopped and only when you feel ready. Some women wait a few weeks - everyone's recovery is different.

Can I use this blend if I had stitches or a tear?

Wait until any stitches have dissolved or been removed, and until the area feels fully healed. If unsure, consult your midwife or healthcare provider.

Is postpartum steaming safe?

When done gently and at the right time, yes. Always test the steam temperature first and avoid steaming too soon after birth. If you have any concerns, check with your midwife or GP.

Can I steam during the postpartum bleeding phase?

No - steaming should only be done once bleeding has stopped.

Can I steam if I had a C-section?

Yes - but only once your bleeding has stopped and you feel comfortable. Avoid steam directly near the incision.

Can this help with postpartum discomfort?

Many women find steaming soothing and comforting, but experiences vary. It's meant to support your wellbeing, not to diagnose or treat any condition.

Can I steam during my period?

No - steaming should be avoided during menstruation. Wait until your period has fully ended.

How many steams are in one pack?

Each pouch provides around 5-6 steam sessions, depending on your preferred strength.

Do I need a Yoni Stool?

You can steam with or without a stool. A Yoni Stool simply provides added comfort and convenience.
